Trailer Specs: The Magic Tilt Boat Trailers quad kayak series trailer. This trailer is equipped to handle up to four 8'-16' kayaks, but can also be used for canoes, stand-up paddleboards (SUP), or similar items. The total width, or the outside of the fender to the outside of the fender dimension is 73" and the total length is 14'10". This trailer comes standard with a spring axle, supporting a net carry capacity of 1200 pounds. The axle comes fitted with 5 lug grease hubs with Buddy Bearings for easy maintenance. This trailer uses 480 x 12" B rated tires. This trailer requires a 2 inch ball and a flat 4 wire receptacle.
Bunk System: The Magic Tilt quad kayak trailer uses the double "T" style brackets to mount carpeted bunks. This setup allows your kayak to sit in almost position you want it in. You are able to trailer your kayak lying flat upside down, keeping the inside of your kayak clean and dry. The bunks are carpeted to protect your kayak from scratches and marring. Each bunk has a tie down point at each end, allowing you to properly secure your items. The double "T" bracket in the front is able to be adjusted to almost any position along the tongue of the trailer.
Build Material: The main frame, axle, fenders, and wheels used in the build of this trailer have been treated with a hot dip galvanization process. This process uses molten (liquid) zinc to coat the steel components creating an incredible corrosion resistant barrier. Galvanized steel is superior and far more durable than painted steel in salt water environments.
